I subscribe, freely and voluntarily, the sum indicated below on a monthly basis to the IFPTE LEAP-PAC with the understanding that this voluntary contribution may be
used by IFPTE for political purposes, including contributions to support candidates for local, state, and federal offices. I understand my right to refuse to contribute
without reprisal and that the amounts below serve merely as suggestions. I am free to subscribe more, less, or nothing, without benefit or disadvantage. I understand
that my contributions to the IFPTE LEAP-PAC are not deductible for income tax purposes.
I further hereby authorize and request my employer to deduct from my earnings, the sum indicated below from the first bi-weekly paycheck of each month to be remitted
to the IFPTE LEAP-PAC.
I reserve the right in accordance with the applicable state and federal laws to revoke this voluntary authorization at any time by giving written notice of such revocation
to the IFPTE LEAP-PAC in accordance with such laws or otherwise.

The IFPTE Legislative Education Action
Program (LEAP) Political Action Committee
(PAC) is an important tool that allows union
members to support the people in Congress and
state legislatures who support the issues that matter most to our careers, families and other working families.
Northwest Council Secretary James Raskob
contributes through payroll deduction at Boeing
each month. “We’ll never match the level of corporate giving, but the IFPTE LEAP-PAC can
counter some of the edge they have,” Raskob
The 15-member IFPTE Executive Council
administers and decides which candidates are
supported from the LEAP-PAC account. The
Council includes three IFPTE vice presidents
from SPEEA: Ryan Rule, Joel Funfar and
Donna Lehane. Working with IFPTE Locals,
the Council identifies candidates who support our issues. Contributions have gone to
Democrats and Republicans.
Rep. June Robinson (D-Everett, WA) said the
contribution from the IFPTE LEAP-PAC will
help her re-election effort so she can continue
to fight for the issues important to aerospace
workers in Olympia in 2017.
“Your support will help me get there,” said
Robinson, prime sponsor of the bill to tie jobs
to Washington’s aerospace tax breaks. “I will
continue to fight for affordable and accessible
healthcare for everyone and accountability to
the state’s taxpayers for corporate tax incentives.”
SPEEA members working at The Boeing
Company, and in the coming months Spirit
AeroSystems, can make regular monthly contributions through payroll deduction. SPEEA
members who work at Spirit or Triumph
Composite Systems can start contributing today
by using the credit card form available on the
SPEEA website under Member Tools/Legislative
